Patriots Bills

Patriots vs Bills : Tom Brady is great at a lot of things — but few of them are as notable as his utter destruction of the Buffalo Bills over the course of his career. The New England Patriots have a 28-3 record against the Bills in Brady’s starts, and he’ll get a chance to add to that total when the Patriots play at New Era Field on Monday Night Football, beginning at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN (live streaming via WatchESPN).

Monday Night Football Live

New England began their season with a narrow win over the Texans followed by consecutive losses to the Jaguars and Lions. But they picked up from there, and earned a quality win over the Chiefs during their ongoing four-game winning streak. Their most recent win was over the defensively-tough Bears.

The Bills are living the rookie quarterback life, or at least they were until Josh Allen hurt his elbow and missed the last game. He’ll miss this one too, and Derek Anderson will be starting under center. Anderson completed 20 of 31 passes for 175 yards and three interceptions in his one start thus far.

Below is all you need to know for Monday’s game.

Patriots vs. Bills news

Fortunately for the Bills, running back LeSean McCoy has cleared the concussion protocol and is expected to start against the Patriots.

In other injury news, the Bills ruled out Trent Murphy and Taiwan Jones on their final injury report.

For the Patriots, they ruled out Jacob Hollister, Eric Rowe and Brian Schwenke. The more interesting name is running back Sony Michel, who is listed as doubtful. As usual, they’ve also listed a slew of players as questionable.

Derek Anderson will become the 13th Bills quarterback to start a game against the Bill Belichick-coached Patriots.

New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills

New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills : AFC rivals square off on Monday Night Football when the Buffalo Bills host the New England Patriots at 8:15 p.m. ET. The Bills (2-5) have played just two home games, winning the last one over the Titans three weeks ago.

New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills Live

The Patriots (5-2) have won four straight led by an offense that’s getting hot. New England is favored by 13.5 points in the most recent Patriots vs. Bills odds, up from the opening line of -13, while the Over-Under for total points scored is 44.5. While the Pats are overwhelming teams with offense, the Bills have the NFL’s fourth-ranked defense, so before making any Patriots vs. Bills picks, you’ll want to see what SportsLine expert Stephen Oh is saying about the matchup.

A renowned data scientist who co-founded Accuscore, Oh has an uncanny beat on the Patriots. In his last 23 picks involving New England, against the spread or on the money line, Oh has been correct 16 times. Anyone who has followed him is way up. Now, Oh has crunched the numbers for Patriots vs. Bills and produced a strong point-spread pick that he’s revealing only at SportsLine.

The Patriots’ offense has really picked it up after a subpar start to the season. The defending AFC champions averaged 19 points in their first three games, but in the last four are putting up 39.3 ppg. Tom Brady has been relatively consistent, but his weapons have improved, and so too has New England’s prolific offense. Receiver Josh Gordon was added to the team in Week 4, and Julian Edelman returned from suspension in Week 5. The Pats haven’t lost since.

Starting RB Sony Michel won’t play on Monday (knee), but likely replacement James White is already an integral part of the offense. He’s second in the NFL among RBs with 45 receptions and is averaging 4.7 yards per carry. New England’s defense, meanwhile, has just nine sacks, but it also has 10 INTs, one off the league lead. Both those numbers could rise dramatically against a Bills offense that has the most INTs in the NFL (12) and third-most sacks allowed (26).

Just because New England is the big favorite to win doesn’t mean it’ll cover. Just ask the Vikings, who were favored by 17 at home in Week 3 when Buffalo demolished them, 27-6.

Things did not go well last week for QB Derek Anderson in his first start in two years, a 37-5 loss at Indianapolis. But he was signed by the Bills just one week prior and fortunes should improve on Monday as he gets used to the playbook and his teammates.

While the passing game remains a work in progress, the run game has at least kept defenses honest. LeSean McCoy and Chris Ivory have combined for 454 yards. McCoy is recovering from a concussion and is questionable, but is expected to suit up.

But if the Bills are to cover the spread Monday, it will be due to a defense that ranks No. 4 in the NFL in yards allowed. Buffalo has 19 sacks — defensive linemen Jerry Hughes, Kyle Williams and Trent Murphy have combined for 11, allowing the LB crew to focus on stopping other aspects. Teams are managing only 210 passing yards per game against Buffalo, fourth-fewest.

We can tell you Oh is leaning under, but his stronger play is against the spread. An alarming stat has caused him to pounce on one side. He’s sharing what it is, and who to back, only at SportsLine.

Who covers in Patriots vs. Bills? And what alarming stats make one side of the spread a must-back? Visit SportsLine now to see which side of the spread you need to be all over, all from the data-driven New England expert who’s 16-7 on picks involving the Patriots.

Following their respective UEFA Champions League matches last week, Tottenham Hotspurand Manchester City are back underway in the English Premier League. The Spurs will host the Blues at Wembley on Matchday 10.

Competition/Round: 2018/19 English Premier League Season – Matchday 10

Date/Time: Manchester City vs Burnley – Monday, 29 October 2018, 21:00 (UK & Nigeria); 16:00 EST, 13:00 PST (USA); 01:00 IST (India)

Venue: Wembley Stadium, London, England, United Kingdom

Radio: BBC Radio Manchester (UK); TalkSport Radio World (USA)

Tottenham have performed well at the start of the 2018/19 season, having earned seven victories and two losses in nine matches. They hold a goal differential of positive nine, although have struggled to find the back of the net in comparison to last season. The Spurs have managed to score more than two goals on only two occasions, and should they hope to overcome a rampant City side, they will need to increase their goalscoring tally.

Manchester City are one of the EPL’s three remaining undefeated teams this season. They boast a goal different of +24, and they have fixed a lot of their defensive issues from last season. The Blues are in good form, having taken the lead in their UEFA Champions League Group, and following a dominant performance in Ukraine, will hope to replicate this performance in the league.

Team News:

Tottenham Hotspur will be without the injured Vincent Janssen, Jan Vertonghen and Dele Alli.

Manchester City’s Claudio Bravo, İlkay Gündoğan, Eliaquim Mangala and Danilo are injured and will not feature in this match.

Prediction:

Whilst Spurs and City prepare for this match, there is one major concern on their mind. Wembley Stadium recently hosted the Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles, two American Football teams. Currently, it seems the pitch will not be in great shape, and this could negatively affect the both teams and their style of play.

Nonetheless, should both teams aim to win silverware this season, they will have to be able to play in any condition. Based on current performance, this match will be close, but it is predicted City will edge this competition.

With the Patriots favored by two touchdowns, this game could get out of hand, creating some tough calls for NFL DFS players. Before entering big-time NFL DFS tournaments like the $1M Halloween Series Showdown on DraftKings or the $700K Monday Night Special on FanDuel, be sure to check out the top Patriots vs. Bills NFL DFS picks from Mike McClure. He’s a professional DFS player with almost $2 million in career winnings.

McClure uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every snap of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best values and create optimal NFL DFS lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NFL DFS player.

McClure is rolling through the 2018 season thanks to some spot-on picks. In Week 1, his optimal NFL DFS lineups finished in the top 3 percent of tournaments on DraftKings and the top 1 percent of tournaments on FanDuel. In Week 4, he finished in the top 2 percent on DraftKings and top 6 percent on FanDuel. In Week 5, his lineups cashed with ease on both sites. And on Sunday, his followers saw massive returns, with his optimal DraftKings lineup finishing in the top 1 percent of tournaments. Anyone who has followed him is way up.

For Monday night’s single-game slate of Patriots vs. Bills, we can tell you McClure is banking on New England quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady has been a model of DFS consistency during New England’s current four-game winning streak. He has returned at least 20 points on both sites each week during that span.

And he has a strong chance to go well beyond that against a Buffalo team that he’s historically owned. Brady is 28-3 all-time against the Bills with a completion percentage of 64, almost 7,000 yards, and 68 touchdowns. Lock him in and look for Brady to continue his domination of this division rival.

McClure’s NFL DFS advice includes stacking Brady with running back James White, who’s in an ideal position to go for big numbers this week.

Sony Michel (knee) has been ruled out, and with Michel sitting last week, White took 19 touches for 97 yards and two touchdowns against a tough Chicago defense. White is primed to go off for even more on Monday Night Football against a Buffalo rushing defense that was just ripped by Marlon Mack (21 touches, 159 yards, 2 TDs) last week.

McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers on Monday Night Football because of a dream matchup. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing.

So who is DFS pro Mike McClure putting in his optimal NFL DFS lineup on Monday night? Visit SportsLine now to see the full optimal tournament lineups for Monday night from a professional DFS player who has almost $2 million in career winnings, and find out.

This is the Bills’ third home game of the season after they played five of their first seven on the road. The Patriots opened as 13-point favorites and now are laying 14, while the over-under is 44.5 in the latest Bills vs. Patriots odds after dipping as low as 44. Before you make any Bills vs. Patriots picks, check out what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

Patriots vs Bills Live Online Free Hd

The advanced computer model simulates every NFL game 10,000 times and those who have followed it have seen massive returns. SportsLine’s proprietary computer model went 176-80 last season and beat over 95 percent of CBS Office Pool players in 2016 and ’17. It also performed better than 98 percent of experts tracked by NFLPickWatch.com during that span. Additionally, it went 48-34 on A-rated picks against the spread last season, and $100 bettors who followed it the past two seasons are up nearly $4,000.

Click Here To Direct Tv Link & Free Signup Now

It went 10-4 straight up in a wild Week 7, including calling the Patriots’ huge win over the Bears, improving its record to a blistering 71-34 on the season. And when it comes to top-rated picks, it is now on a strong 62-43 run. Anybody who has been following those picks is way, way up.

Now, the model has simulated the Patriots vs. Bills on “Monday Night Football” 10,000 times. We can tell you it says the over cashes in 52 percent of simulations, and it has also found plenty of value on one side of the spread. This pick is available only at SportsLine.

The model knows that at 41, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady continues to play at an elite level. He’s on pace to toss 37 touchdowns this season and already has 1,876 passing yards. With running back Sony Michel out with a knee injury, expect James White and Kenjon Barner to handle most of the rushing duties. Not only is White averaging a healthy 4.7 yards per carry, he’s also the team’s leading receiver with 45 catches for 380 yards.

All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski is likely to suit up against the Bills after missing last week’s game with back spasms. Gronk has only one score this season, but is netting an impressive 15.6 yards per grab. Wide receiver Josh Gordon notched his first 100-yard game as a Patriot last Sunday, which included a nifty 55-yard reception.

But just because the Patriots have been hot doesn’t mean they’ll cover a two-touchdown spread in a divisional road game.

A strong ground game capable of keeping the high-flying New England offense off the field and taking pressure off Bills quarterback Derek Anderson will be key to a Buffalo cover. Buffalo’s top two running backs are banged up, but both are expected to play.

LeSean McCoy leads the squad with 244 rushing yards, but has yet to hit pay dirt. He has cleared the concussion protocol after practicing all week. Backup Chris Ivory topped 100 yards from scrimmage last week in the blowout loss to the Colts.

Who wins Patriots vs. Bills? And which side of the spread has all the value? Visit SportsLine now to see which side you need to be all over, all from the incredible computer model that has returned nearly $4,000 to $100 bettors.

Spurs suffered heavily at the hands of Pep Guardiola’s side last season, losing 4-1 at the Etihad and 3-1 at home, so they will be eager to avoid a similar fate in 2018-19.

However, it is sure to be a difficult task, with City coming into the match on the back of a seven-game unbeaten run, with eight goals scored in their last two games alone.

Concerns over the suitability of the Wembley pitch have been dismissed by Guardiola in the lead up to the game and the Catalan is more concerned about handling the Spurs players.

Jacksonville Jaguars played the Philadelphia Eagles at the venue on Sunday, just a day before the Spurs-City showdown, leaving little time for ground staff to prepare the playing surface.

“I think the Premier League doesn’t like it too much but it is what it is,” Guardiola said. “Hopefully Tottenham can finish a stadium as quickly as possible but it is not necessary to complain about that.

“We have to adapt quickly, figure out that the pitch will not be in perfect conditions and adapt.”

City claimed a 7-2 advantage over Spurs over their two league meetings last season, beating them 4-1 at home before recording a 3-1 win at Wembley, but Guardiola is taking nothing for granted.

“They were my first defeat here and I realised how strong they are,” stressed the Catalan. “Last season we did really well in both games, but they’ve got a good manager and good players.”

Pochettino, meanwhile, is fully aware of his side’s status as underdogs coming into the game against the reigning champions, but he believes they have what it takes to upset their rivals.

“I think we are on a different level – but that doesn’t mean we cannot beat them in one game,” said the Argentine.

So, here we are, kids. It’s been exactly 287 days since Case Keenum told the other Vikings in the huddle they’d be running the play “Buffalo Right, Seven Heaven.” Keenum took the snap,

With their week seven win versus the Baltimore Ravens, Quarterback Drew Brees became just the third quarterback ever to beat all 32 NFL teams, joining Peyton Manning and Brett Favre. Brees, who began his career playing for the San Diego Chargers, finally got that win versus the Ravens after four previous tries over his eighteen year career

The Saints traded for Apple earlier this week and all signs pointed toward him serving as the starter. This is a sign that New Orleans is comfortable with his ability to pick up the defense despite

The Saints are led by head coach Sean Payton, quarterback Drew Brees and wide receiver Michael Thomas. New Orleans owns a 5-1 record, and is coming off a Week 7 win over the Ravens.

The Vikings are led by head coach Mike Zimmer, quarterback Kirk Cousins, and wide receiver Adam Thielen. Minnesota comes into the game with a 4-2-1 record. The Vikings defeated the Jets in Week 7.

But alas, that was last year. This is 2018, though, and the Vikings face a Saints team that is playing as well as any in the league at the moment. Sean Payton is back for his twelfth season coaching the team, and his team returns to U.S.

Zack Rosenblatt: This might be the game of the week. Spurred on by a win against the Eagles (in Philadelphia) the Vikings have begun to look like the team they were supposed to be coming into this season. The Saints might be the NFC’s best challenger for the Los Angeles Rams, and they just added cornerback Eli Apple from the Giants. This should be a close one. Who dat for the win

The Rams are nine-point favorites and the over-under for total points scored is 56.5 in the latest Packers vs. Rams odds. Before you make any Packers vs. Rams picks, listen to what SportsLine expert R.J. White has to say. This was a fourth-and-six situation which Rodgers converted using his legs. Rodgers hopes to be without a knee brace against the Rams.

The Rams are the NFL’s top rushing team — mainly because reigning NFL offensive player of the year Todd Gurley is off to an even better start than last season. Gurley is averaging a league-best 98 yards per game and has scored a league-leading 14 touchdowns.

The Rams once again will be without receiver Cooper Kupp, who remains sidelined because of a knee injury. Second-year pro Josh Reynolds will start again alongside Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks. The Packers’ 3-4 scheme features linebackers Clay Matthews and Nick Perry, who will play in the Coliseum for the first time since they starred for USC.

White was SportsLine’s most profitable NFL analyst last season and returned $100 bettors a profit of nearly $2,000. The renowned prognosticator has cashed big in two of the last three prestigious Las Vegas SuperContests and now turns his eye toward Sunday’s game. Aaron Rodgers could have a peg leg and he’d still be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

Three weeks ago, White advised SportsLine members that the Rams were in for a fight from the rebuilding Seahawks, so he recommended backing Seattle as a 7.5-point home underdog. The result: the Rams pulled out a tight 33-31 victory, and anyone who followed White’s advice booked another easy winner.

But the Packers are well aware that they are just a couple plays away from being practically eliminated from the NFL playoff race. They had to overcome a 20-point deficit in Week 1 to edge the Bears and, in their last game, were outplayed most of the way by the short-handed 49ers. Aaron Rodgers led the Packers to 10 points in the final 1:05 for a 33-30 victory.
